Hartlepool Freemasons Present £2,000 Donation to Alice House Hospice

Representatives of Hartlepool Freemasonry recently visited Alice House Hospice to present a donation of £2,000 in support of the outstanding care and support the charity provides to individuals and families across Hartlepool and the surrounding area.

The donation was made possible through the generosity of Haven of Rest Lodge No. 4350, which contributed £1,450 towards the appeal. Recognising the vital role that Alice House Hospice plays within our community, the Hartlepool Masonic Benevolent Association (HMBA) provided an additional £550, bringing the total donation to £2,000.

Representing Freemasonry at the presentation were Keith Brown, Jonathan Lindley and Jamie Allison, who met with members of the Alice House Hospice team and formally presented the donation certificate on behalf of the Brethren of Hartlepool.

Alice House Hospice provides specialist care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as practical and emotional support for their families and loved ones. Their work touches the lives of countless people throughout our community, offering comfort, dignity and compassion when it is needed most.

The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about the important services delivered by the hospice and to see first-hand the positive impact their dedicated staff and volunteers make every day.

Supporting local charities and community organisations remains a central part of Freemasonry’s charitable mission. Through the combined efforts of individual Lodges and the Hartlepool Masonic Benevolent Association, local Freemasons continue to support organisations that make a genuine difference to the lives of people across Hartlepool.

HMBA would like to thank Haven of Rest Lodge for their generosity and commitment to supporting local causes, and Alice House Hospice for the invaluable service they provide to our community.

If your charity, community group or organisation is making a positive difference in Hartlepool and could benefit from support, applications for funding can be submitted through the HMBA website.
